Norwich is well known for its school system. Norwich Free Academy is a privately endowed, independent, comprehensive high school.  Serving as the secondary school of choice to Norwich and surrounding communities, it “offers over 2,500 students a unique combination of the best in private and public education.”  And the City’s K-8 education system comprises a number of neighborhood primary and middle schools.
